Orlando, FL-Day 2 (Magic Kingdom)

Disney World has so many different parks you can go to. I think there is 5 parks and 2 water parks. The first on our list is MAGIC KINGDOM. Here we are catching our Fairy boat ride over to the park. Are my kids ExCiTeD or what?Right when you walk in the park you have to take a picture of Cinderella's Castle. Its just too beautiful to pass up.

I'm not in a lot of pictures, because I was the main one taking them and of course video taping all the shows.
I love this picture of Gabriella and her Daddy. She was so tired and Dad was rocking her to sleepYeah yeah yeah, we are a bunch of big mouths. Got to love some Turkey Legs...the size of your face
RIDES
We rode a lot more, but some rides you just can't take your camera on...like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. My 2 favorite rides at the park. But first off we rode the race cars.
Who is this behind car #1?I can't tell because they can't see over the steering wheel. This doesn't look good.
Oh its Anthony. Please don't wreck
Here is car #2 and once again this little midget can't see over the steering wheel either. Is this legal?
Oh its Gabriella. Nanny said she was a reckless driver. I'd imagine so if you can't see where you are going.
Yay Finally somebody who can see where they are going. Isabel still couldn't reach the gas pedal though, so Pop had to push the gas while Isabel did the driving. Team Work! Its what its all about
Anthony like giving kisses through the ropes while standing in line for our jungle ride
Tea Cup party for Alice in Wonderland
Can you guess what ride we were about to get on? Don't laugh at my face I'm doing. I'm trying to give you a hint.
You guessed it Dumbo. The sky is the limit

CHARACTERS
Wow! Did we run into some characters. There were lots more than I have here, but we didn't feel like standing in line for all of them. We just got a few that we passed.
Cindrella's evil Step Mother and Step Sisters.
After we took our picture the Step Mom put her arm around Pop and asked him if he was married. When Pop, said Yes! She threw her hands up and was like "Awh I was looking for #3" We all got a kick out of that
They had a show at Cinderella's Castle that brought out all kind of characters. Here is Goofy, Donal Duck, Minnie & Mickey with an evil witch coming to destroy all the dreams.
We also saw Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White (she got cut out the picture).
Gabriella giving Alice a kiss
These pictures are perfect, because this is the theme we are doing for Halloween this year. Gabriella is going to be Alice and Anthony is going to be the white rabbit. Its perfect
Anthony was extactic he got a kiss from Alice. Here is her lip mark to prove it
Donald Duck dressed up for the Tom Sawyer ride. Or was it Huck Finn? I can't remember
Captain Jack Sparrow...love love love the movies
We didn't want to stand in line for Mickey & Minnie so we got the next best thing. Their bushes that were cut out to look like them
LIGHT PARADE
If you go to Magic Kingdom you have to stay until closing to see the parade of lights and the Firework show. This is where they gather all their characters into one show. Here are the pictures that turned out ok. Its hard to take pictures in the dark with moving lights. Now, come on. Grab your kids and see if they can name all the characters.

This one wasn't a Disney Character, but it was close to my heart since my husband is in the military. They had a float dedicated to our country and our men.
This is the most beautiful site. It is breath taking to see the castle glow at night.
The big shabang was the AMAZING firework show that was choreographed to Disney Songs. It lasted forever. You kept thinking it was over, but then they would start another song with more fireworks.
We love you Disney World.

WOW! It looks like so much fun! We haven't taken our kids yet and they want to go so badly. All of the great deals Disney offers families too. They started those after Emma was already of school-age though, so we can't just go whenever we want, and Peter's never home and none of my family wants to go with me, so....no Disney for us. Hopefully before Emma is 20 we'll go ;) I bet it was so magical for your kids. I think when they're about 3-8 is the best ages for them as far as that goes. Glad you got to go!!!
