Break Time

For this last week I have been home by myself with little Gabriella. Anthony had to go to South Carolina to pick up our moving trailer we ordered. Well, it is actually in TN, but since it was on the east coast he stayed with the family and visited some. He thought that it would be a good idea for him to take the other 2 kids with him and give me some time to myself. I was shocked that he wanted to take both of them. I wasn't going to complain and say NO though. I was like "Sure, Ok!" I have to say it has been quit nice having a quite home. I have forgotten how it is to eat a meal with out any interuptions of somebody wanting to take a bite of your food. Or being able to watch a movie without somebody screaming in the background. The best part of it all is that I am able to CLEAN without little kiddos coming behind you and messing it all right back up. So I have been seizing that opputunity while I can. The first couple of days I just slept in and was lazy. You know just enjoying, relaxing myself. But the last couple of days I have been cleaning. First I packed up a few more boxes of things for the move. Pulled the weeds out of the flower bed & cut the grass. Then I cleaned the kids bathroom. I don't mean just swish and swipe. I mean deep clean. We our getting ready for inspection people. Time is ticking. Then I Packed up some more boxes, all the kids clothes & toys. Then yesterday, I took on the scary project of the Refrigerator. Yes, some of you might not think it is that bad of a job, but if you are like me who doesn't clean it. It is very scary. I'm sorry for all of you clean freaks out there, this might gross you out. But I have not cleaned our refrigerator since we have lived here. Thats right 2 years and 2 months. I know I know. I told you it was gross. Well, I cleaned that sucker real good. I threw out all the bad stuff, gave some things to the neighbors that I know we want use up by the time we move, took out all the shelves & drawers & scrubed, scrubed, scrubed. I was cleaning for hours. Finally it is done. It is CLEAN!!!!!!
Now the next project....the oven...................
(I know our fridge is pretty empty, but we haven't been going grocery shopping. We need to eat everything up before we move, which is in 11 days. We don't want anything to go to waste.)
Actually this is kind of depressing. I'm working so hard to get our house clean, but I won't be able to enjoy it b/c we are leaving. And might I add we are leaving and going to even a dirty house....my parents. Hopefully the cleaning streak won't end and I'll go to cleaning town on their house too. Gosh knows they need it. The floors only get vacumed when somebody comes to visit and does it for them. You know it is bad when Isabel goes into their house and tells them they need to sweep. I didn't know a 3 year old could tell a place was dirty or not.
And one more thing. While Anthony was driving to SC the truck broke down. Yes, the new one we just bought. I couldn't believe it myself. I am very agravated at the issue, so we want talk too much about it. It is in the shop now, but we don't know will it will be done, therefore I don't know when he is coming back. I hope it doesn't take too much longer, b/c I need help cleaning this place and packing.

How nice of Anthony to give you and Gabrielle some time alone! Let me know if you want to play at all - I'm going to miss you so I need LizAnn time - it's been awhile!!!

Oh wow - nice fridge!!! Sorry about the truck. I hope it gets fixed and you don't have any more problems with it!! Good luck with the move, too!

I hope you're not overdoing it again. I know how moves are, though, especially under crunch time. Pace yourself. I'd hate for you to rip your gut. I'm sorry you're having some trials right now, but just think...you'll be SC soon!

I am so sad that you are leaving so soon! 11 days is just not enough! But I am glad you got some relax/cleaning/alone time! Very important! Hopefully, we'll get some time to spend as freinds before you go!
