Tagged...not really

Ok, so I really wasn't tagged, but I saw it on Nicia's blog and I wanted to do it anyways for myself.

Picture Tag!

1. A current project you are working on...Well, I have had this bun cooking in the oven now for 31 weeks. Only 5 more weeks before the doctors want to take her.

2. The oldest thing you own...
The first thing I thought of was this picture that used to be my grandmothers. It hung in her house until the day she died. At which at that point I decided to take it over and hang on my walls to remind me of her. This is a very famous picture for those of you who live in SC, but for those of you who don't...it is a picture of when hurricane Huggo hit in 1988 at the Battery in down town Charleston, SC.
Then the more I thought about it I figured this camera was probably older than that picture. I found this camera in my sister-in-law's Grandad's house. He has moved in with my brother up in PA since he has gotten up in age and needed to get rid of his house. He asked if we would clean it out for him. And this is the wonderful treasure I found. I thought it was so cool to have such an old camera. No, it is not one of the first camera's out there, but I still think it is pretty cool. I now display it on a shelf in my entertainment center.

3. Your worst pair of tennis shoes...

Yes, it is sad. I have had these shoes for 4 years now and they still almost look like new. This is a sure sign that I do not work out. I mainly just lie around the house barefooted, and when I do go out I pretty much just stick to the trusty old flip flops.

4. Something from your childhood...

Oh man, I loved this movie to death when I was like 5 years old. I watched it over and over and over. My older sibling got so tired of seeing it that one day they recorded over the thing. I was so mad and devistated. I was telling Anthony about how traumatized I was when they did this to me as a kid. The good husband that he is, he went on Ebay and found a copy and bought it for me again. I have to say, now that I watch it as an adult...it is a very stupid movie. Good thing he only paid $2 for it.

5. Your 3 favorite movies...
Out of all the movies out there I couldn't just pick 3, so I broke it down to my 3 favorite old timey movies... Gone With the Wind, My Fair Lady & Pretty Woman. No Pretty Woman isn't a classic, but it's not quite that rescent either.
and my 3 newest favorite movies...August Rush, The Guardian, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, & The Bucket List. Ok yes, I know it is not 3. I just can't ever narrow something down to a small list. I love too many things.

6. Your key chain...

Sorry, I don't have a more intersting set of keys. It's only the one lonesome key on mine.

7. Your favorite edible treat in the house right now...

Oooh, Dad surprised me last night when he came home with a bag of bing cherries. This things are so delicious. He never lets me buy them ,because they are usually expensive, like $7/lb. but he found some yesterday that were only $2/lb. He said he couldn't let them go buy and had to buy me some. It really made my day. It's the first time of me eating them this year!

8. Something in your home you are proud of...

Dad's WALL OF FAM I call it. It is out of date right now. I need to put up his pilot graduation stuff. I also can't find his USC diploma either. It got lost when we moved here to Del Rio. I hope it pops up somewhere sometime soon. I would love to frame it for him.
I guess I am proud of my drawings too. I never took any art classes, but I enjoyed doodling ever now and then. I drew Snap, Crackle & Pop when I was 12 years old and the rest of them I was around 15 or so. I haven't drawn anything in 4 years now.

9. Favorite Wall hanging...

This is a picture in our bedrrom. I think it sends off those warm, fuzzy, love vibes.

10. Something in the yard that makes you smile...

How could I live with out my hammock. Literaly I lay in this thing everyday. This is my serine get away from the kids. I just go out side and relax, breathing in the nice fresh air. I am sad that our old dog chewed a hole in, but I still can't resist laying in it.

I now tag Marie

Good for you! I'm so glad you did this. It's fun, isn't it! I should have said that anyone wanting to do it is tagged! It was fun to see all the pictures. You look soooo good Liz Ann!

I remember when you first showed me your drawings and I was so amazed at your talent. You should make little sets of them - one character per frame (maybe 3x5 size images) and SELL THEM!! You could make lots of bucks. Especially as little sets of art for kids' rooms or things like that.

Anyway, thanks for the tag, when I get back from AZ to OK I will play. It will be a little difficult for some of them since our stuff is in storage, but I'll fudge it :)

Take care!

As soon as I saw Snoopy Come Home, I was thinking, "I thought we destroyed that dumb movie." Then, I read your comment and realized how you got another one. I'm glad to hear that you think that it's stupid now. You have no idea how much you tortured us. Just think, we had to watch that 4-5 a day because of you. UUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!
