Turtle Club

I looked out my window and what did I see?....

To my surprise a TURTLE! We all ran outside to take a look and what do you know it wasn't just any turtle.
It was a mommy turtle. She had started to dig a whole to lay its eggs. I couldn't believe it we were about to have a baby turtle nest right in the middle of our back yard. We were so excited and couldn't believe it. Our neighbors saw us huddling around and wondered what was going on so they came out to see as well. Once we started talking and making too much noise
The turtle ran away. Not only was I disappointed that we weren't going to have a turtle nest anymore, but I felt bad that we had to stop the Mommy's birthing process. When she left we took a look at the whole she dug and she had already squirted out some of her juices, because there was some gooey stuff in the whole. I felt so bad, because being a mother myself and already having kids I could not imagine started to squeeze in labor and then all of a sudden having to put a hold on everything and find another location to have my baby. As if labor isn't hard enough. I'm so sorry Turtle. Please come back. I promise I will give you plenty of space and I will look out after your nest.

My day started out to be supper exciting, but ended in a catastrophe.

Y'all are so annoying!!!! ;) Blahahahaha! That would have been awesome to watch the whole process if she wouldn't have been scared off. Well, atleast you your kids got a little education out of it. ;) Amazing.
