April 19
My neighbors got married at the Magnolia Plantation back in April. The plantation allowed you to come back for FREE the next day after the wedding to tour the place. This was awesome, because these plantations are expensive.
First we took the train ride around the plantation and got to see tons of alligators in the waters, beautiful trees, and got to catch up on some history. Here is Isabel in front of the house when we got off our train ride.
Next we went to the petting zoo. Anthony liked this lazy little goat.
Everybody was fascinated with the peacock. When we first got there the feathers were all spread out, but I couldn't get to my camera in time. What a bummer.
Gabriella thought it tickled when the animals would lick the food out of your hand.
They had a blast
Then we went out to the pasture to see the ponies.
Some how we got the pony to come over to us so we could pet him too.
They also had one of those shrubbery mazes you could walk through. We kept getting lost in it so we finally decided to duck under some of the bushes so we could get to the end. I know we are cheaters. The last thing that we did as we were heading out was stopped by their sand pit where you can dig for shark's teeth and gold coins. The kids enjoyed doing that too. We found all kinds of different teeth in there.
Thank you Hentzel Family for the Free ticket into the plantation. Our family had a good time. Oh, and of course congratulations on getting married.

Love it! Your kids alway make the cutest faces. We want to go too but you're right, they are expensive. I keep looking for coupons but it seems like they never offer them so I'm holding out for when the in-laws come to visit. My mother-in-law loves that kind of stuff just like me =0
LUCKY!!!! That is definitely something I would like to do! It's crazy that we have never had the opportunity to do one. In time, I guess...
