Easter Pleaser

April 24

We started the morning off by finding the Easter baskets that the Easter bunny left behind
And then headed to our famous Easter family reunion. Gabriella was quick to find the treasure box
This was Dad's first time coming to an Easter get together in 3 years. You can say we were super excited he was finally able to participate with us again. Here he is giving his advice to Anthony and Goober.
I love this one of them competing side by side. They are always in competition with each other
Wow! Goober you got a lot
But I see Anthony got some of the money eggs. The striped ones were filled with money. Cha-Ching!
Isabel was concentrating hard because this year she bumped up in age group. She was up again the teenagers
Look how much bigger those boys were. She had a hard time finding eggs this time.
We played a new game this year. The over the head wet sponge game
Our team was losing so Uncle Johnny grabbed a cup and started filling it up instead to fill up the other bottle at the end. Guess what....we still lost
Next game was the water balloon toss. Anthony was double ready. He knew he needed some back up in this game
Of course the egg toss. Yes that is Gabriella running out in the middle about to get whacked in the head with an egg. The winner this year was none other than the 2 Anthony's in the family. One being my husband and the other cousin Anthony
Isabel and Amber were so cute as team mates.
Anthony's famous face in tug-a-war. He gets so serious
This year for tug-a-war some of the men took on......
ALL of the KIDS! What do you know? The kids won. They were super excited and had bragging rights the rest of the day.

This year there was a change to the Easter Reunion. My Dad got up and said that him and his brothers and sisters were retiring. They have been running this fiasco for 40 years now, and they are too old to do it anymore. Needless to say the old hags have turned the responsibilities over to us, the younger generation, to run. Lord help us all. We will see how this works under new management. Any ideas on games we can try out?

I'm glad you posted pics from the games because we left early this year and never saw any pics.

How in the world could they justify putting Isabel with the teenagers???? It sounds like they didn't have enough age groups! I can't wait until I get back to SC, because I would love having a hand in being in charge of activities. ;) Fun! Fun!
