Camping at James Island Park

2 weekends ago my brother, Ethen, was off for spring break so we decided to go camping. We headed out to the James Island State Park. Here we are set up right on the water
The first night we all sat around the fire roasting marshmallows.
When we woke up my hubby made us pancakes. yum!
We headed out on our bikes to test out some of the trails they had. Here Isabel is riding Benji on his bike
Dad had Anthony on his bike
And Uncle Ethen had Gabriella. They really enjoyed the ride
As we were walking on the trail we came across the paddle boats. We had to give them a try as well. Dad thought he was man enough to take on a 4 person paddle boat with all kids. Lets just say he got a good leg work out. He actually had to peddle so hard that he ended up braking the seat. Oops
And here is Ethen with his family. I was smart and got the 2 seater with little Anthony.
When we got back to out campsite we grilled out steaks, chicken, and shrimp. Of course we had to roast marshmallows again. You can't be by a fire and not have marshmallows. Is just imposible.
Ethen and Rebekah even brought their projector screen to watch movies on while we camped. I guess you could say we camp luxurious style
At the end of the 2nd night my kids were pooped.

We all had such a good time camping they we decided that we needed to do it again. We called up the rest of the family and decided to go next weekend as well. Pics of that coming soon
