Whew, it took me forever to get this boy into school. I had to fight the school district for a while to even consider him as a candidate. I won't go into all of the details, but low and behold after a lot of phone calls, personal visits and head aches. We got him in. At first they weren't going to even give him a chance to be tested, but once a complained so much they finally came to our house to visit and when they saw him they fell in love with him right away. What can I say? This boy has charm that nobody can resist.

And as you can tell. This little man is SUPER EXCITED! He might just be more excited than me...Naaa, just kidding, not possible. I got 2 kids out of my house now. Only one more to go.

He is such a ham. I love you.

Here is his teachers, Miss Horne, the younger lady. She is actually a substitute for a couple of weeks, because his real teacher is on maternity leave. The older lady is Mrs. Medlock. As you can see Anthony is already crushing on his teacher. I mean come on, look how close and tight he is hugging her. When he walked in the classroom and saw her he said, "Your beautiful!" and shook his eye brows up and down a few times. Miss Horne couldn't help but melt into his hands. He has her wrapped already. Anthony never ceases to surprise me. I'm telling you, too much personality.

Yay Anthony! You finished your first day of school. I'm so proud. The verdict...loves his school, loves his class, loves his classmates, loves his teacher... 4K gets an A.
BTW, he was the same as Isabel. As soon as we pulled up to the school he was screaming, "This my school! This my school!" running across the walkway, down the hall, screaming "Yaaaaayyyyy" with short interruptions of a loud "HEY!" and then some "my names Anthony" He was full throttle the whole way. Never looking back to me. He definitely had everybody's attention and I'm sure it is not going to be long before EVERYBODY at school is going to know him.
Can I just say that I love how my kids have so much confidence. Especially little Anthony. I remember growing up and going to school. I would hide behind my Dad's leg and wouldn't talk. Even when I had school projects to present to the class I wouldn't get up and show it off. I would get docked a letter grade because of it, but I didn't care. I was terrified to get up and speak in front of people. I didn't come out of my shell until high school. Where these kids got so much self esteem I'll never know? I'm going to say from their Daddy...yeah, its from him. He is one of the cockiest, self centered, people I know. Maybe thats why I like him. He takes the attention away from me.

Of all the people I know, I would never guess you were ever shy.:) You need to give yourself more credit. Anthony takes after you a lot more than you can see. He's adorable and is so lucky to have you as his mom. And I love how he's crushing on his teacher already. Such a lady's man!
Good for both of y'all. He's gonna be so far ahead of everyone by the end of the school year.
