Look What's MISSING...
Isabel got her front 4 teeth pulled. No more rotten teeth. YAY! Actually, since Isabel had 2 extra teeth, the dentist technically only pulled 2 teeth. See if you look closely she still has her 2 side teeth next to her pointy vampire teeth. Sorry, I don't know the technical terms of the teeth. Those 2 extra teeth was the cause of all her problems. When they came in her mouth didn't have enough room so it pushed her front teeth to sit on top of each other. Leaving me where I couldn't get in between them to clean them. Therefore, decay happened and just kept spreading because I never took her in to get looked at. It finally got so bad I went ahead and took her. I just always figured they were baby teeth and were going to fall out anyways, so why spend money to fix them. The dentist told me that the decay would actually affect the permanent teeth so we went ahead and pulled them.
Isabel absolutely loves the dentist. She gets so excited when she has to go. The dentist loves her too. They tell me every time that she is the best kid that comes through there, and that they are not just saying that. Normally they wouldn't even consider doing this with other kids, but since Isabel is so good for them they went ahead and did it. Afterwards you know how they usually get a sticker or a little prize for being good. Well, the dentist told her to pick 3 things. Then the dentist still didn't think that was enough so she got a bag and filled the whole bag with goodies. Then when I went to go pay the dentist came back to her and gave her big stuff animal too. The dentist just kept reiterating how good Isabel was and she was her favorite patient. If Isabel keeps getting showered with gifts like this I don't see her hatting the dentist anytime soon. Actually, she keeps asking me when she has to go again....I wonder why?

LOL! She looks like a normal kid with no front teeth!!! I'm sure everyone will think they came out on their own. And, I'm not surprised that she's a great patient! She gets her lovely, easy-going personality from her mama!!!
Gosh I wish I got presents when I went to the dentist! No fair but hooray that she's such a good patient. Preston is almost 28 and he HATES the dentist.
