Say Goodbye, We're Moving

July 2012

My husband got his new orders. We are headed back to Texas so he can be a pilot instructor. We couldn't be happier. I think this was number 2 or 3 on our dream sheet. Charleston was beautiful, but I hardly got to share it with my spouse since he was always gone on missions. It comes with the territory of having a life with a pilot. Even though Del Rio, TX is isolated we agreed to go back. We would once again have our family reunited. Laughlin is one of the few bases that don't deploy. ChaChing! I feel like we hit the jack pot. There may not be shopping, but I am willing to give it all away for my FAMILY! (I can't believe I just said that)

We have been so blessed with our house situation. We didn't even have to list our house on the market. My niece, Amy, has a friend who is a Realtor, and as soon as she heard we were moving she called me right away. She new a lady that would love our house. That week we lined up a visit, showed it off, signed the papers. We have an awesome renter. She is a Lt. Col for the Army who doesn't have kids. My house is in very good hands. We didn't want to loose her. So we packed up our stuff in 2 weeks and moved out. Even though we still had 2 months left. We kept our stuff in the trailer and I lived in Columbia with my sister for the next month. Lots of fun pictures of that coming soon
Before we left we said our goodbyes to some of our good friends we have come to love since we have been in Charleston. We set up a day at the beach with Drew Roberts (AKA Bubba Drew) and Maricela Merino. My kids absolutely adore baby Briesa. We will miss you guys.
We also had to give our bikes one last ride around the neighborhood before packing them up. We sure are going to miss this place. It is the first house that we actually owned and now we are saying adios. I can't believe that 3 years have came and gone so quickly.
