Taking trips to Columbia are filled with lots of fun and adventure. This time we checked out Riverbank Zoo where Isabel discovered her ability to climb
She feels like she conquered the worldThat week the zoo opened up their new exhibit. We thought we would give it a go.
Isabel had no fear of heights. Dad was to suppose to follow her and help her out, but he got stuck helping other kids who couldn't get around. Isabel got tired of waiting on him. She took off and was zipping through the course like she had grew up with one in her back yard.
It made her proud that she did the whole thing by herself
Dad was hurt he didn't get to follow his girl around on her first wild crazy run. But it made Isabel smile big when she could look down below to see Dad and know that she was beating him, and doing it with out any assistance.
It gave her confidence that she could tackle anything. So we took her to the rock climbing wall. Which she made it to the top on that too. Might I point out that she is doing all of this climbing with furry bedroom slippers. She is nuts
Then she took on the task of climbing the coconut/palm tree
I am proud of my girl. As if these courses aren't hard enough. To do them in bedroom slippers is even more awesome. You go girl!!!
