Goodbye Deployment, Hello Dad

November 5, 2011

My husband's deployment is finally over. This is our 2nd deployment we have been through. I have to say it is a lot easier the 2nd time around. Don't get me wrong. It still sucks, but I knew what to expect. My roll as a wife and parent has definitely changed. I am a lot more hard core. Having to take on both the father and mother roll all the time takes its toll on life. I don't have time for pettiness, stupidity, or drama. I will snap at people a lot faster than before. I have grown a back bone and have a lot less patience. In other words, stay away from this CrAzY, emotional, ticking time bomb. She will explode at any given time. Consider yourself warned  :-)
When Dad got home of course we all piled on top of him. Oh, how we missed him
The next day we had our first breakfast together as a whole family again. Its so much better when its complete
When Dad grabbed his luggage the kids said he couldn't go again. So they jumped inside his bag.

I had some videos I wanted to share, but it was taking to long to upload. I will have to dedicate a post to just videos later on
