Las Vegas...Day 2 (Comedy, Rio, Paris, Drag, Bellagio)

Ready for another day full of adventure? Some how we managed to cram 2 shows, dinner & 4 hotels into this day. Ready? Go!

First we saw a Magic/Comedy show called "The Mac King Show". We thought it was going to be lame, but we said, "What the heck, we'll see it anyways." Turned out. It was a really good show. He had good magic tricks and we laughed the whole time. Thanks Mac King! After the show we walked in some casinos. I don't remember what some of them were called, but I loved this statue that they had. Money was pouring out everywhere. And how could I forget me grabbing a piece of Heaven......MMmmmm I love this BAR! We worked ourselves up an appetite, so we ate at the Rio Buffet. It was huge. They had everything you could possibly want. Chinese, Mexican, American, Italian, Seafood, Sushi, etc... I could go on. Locals get 1/2 off. Since Marina lives there we got the buffet for $13. Not bad for all you can eat crab legs, shrimp, steak, ribs....I could go on and on again but I will spare you.

Oh yes, and of course yummy dessert. I liked how they made them bite size. They had such a big variety and it all looked so yummy I wanted to try everything. Thanks to them being in small portions I was able to soak my pallet with all kinds of flavors. Yum! Boy were we stuffed. We needed to walk off all those calories we ate. What better way then down at the strip? Only in Vegas will you see this on the side of the street...yes it is a guyFinally we made it the Paris Hotel. It was beautiful. I wonder how much it would cost to stay there for a night? It looks too expensive for my blood. They had lots of different water features through out the building

This one had a beautiful painted sky and cobble stone floor too, just like the Venetian. These 2 hotels had a lot of similarities, but the Paris is smaller, cozier, more intimate. For some reason I still like the Venetian better. Paris is runner up though. Another water feature

Strike a poseYou can't stand under the Eiffel Tower and not get a kiss.

When we walked out the Paris Hotel I took a picture with this fountain, and then these guys came up and wanted to take a picture with us.
We figured, Hey! Its Vegas. Why not? Sorry, Anthony, don't be mad. We can't help we have that effect on people. lol
The 2nd show for the evening was "Frank Marino". It was an impersonation show. But this one had a twist...it was all guys dressing up as famous girl singers. Thats right. It was a Drag Show. We had such a good time. It was crazy how much the guys were able to look like their impersonator. Not just look like them, but act like them too. They really studied their person. They had all of their moves, face expressions, body language, everything down to a T. It was hilarious. It was mostly a concert with some comedy. Frank Marino dressed up as Joan Rivers, he was the comic part. He would come out say a few jokes and then introduce the singers. Lady Gaga was the first to perform. I missed her picture, because I didn't know you could use your camera. In all the other shows you aren't allowed to use them. Once I found out you could then we started snapping away.
BEYONCE
They made fun of her. Accentuating her butt and boobs. She kept pulling out food from her boobs. It was way funny. All the other acts were serious. This was the only funny one.
See the donut?
CELINE DIONWHITNEY HOUSTONBRITTNEY SPEARS
I didn't get a good shot of Brittney, but I did get a shot of her back up dancers. Some times it pays to be on the front row. For a second I thought I had went to the Thunder From Down Under Show... but then I remembered they were all GAY! Dang it. What a bummer?
DOLLY PARTON
Does that not look just like her?
BETTE MIDLER
She was actually a black guy. That was a lot of make up to make him whiteDIANA ROSSCHERThey even got her butt tattoo rightTINA TURNERAnd the star of the show
FRANK MARINO
as
JOAN RIVERSHis show has been around the longest in Vegas. 25 years. They even put his name on one of the stars down on the strip.
Last, but not least, we wanted to end the night with watching the water show from the Bellagio Hotel. I think they said the water shows go off every hour. Each time it is to a different song. I would love to see all of them. I got to see 2 of them while I was there. Its neat how they can choreograph the water to the music.
Another day of exhaustion. Back to Marina's for some more Zzzzz....
