Folly Beach

Ok, so all of my post are about a week behind right now. I have about 10 things I need to post, but I am trying to do them slowly and ease y'all into them instead of smuthering y'all with Viccellio news. That and I only have about a block of 10 minutes to post each time. It has been real crazy hecktic around here.

So last week we went to Charleston to see what the Air Force Base looks like. I have to say I am excited to be stationed there. It was beautiful and a lot bigger than Laughlin AFB, but that isn't saying much. They even have a school that is on base which I think is pretty cool. Since we were there we wanted to go by the beach since it was only 20 minutes away. The kids have never been to the beach before and they loved it. We didn't bring bathing suits so we just rolled our pants up and put our feet in. Dad started crying when he saw how excited Anthony was about the water. He was just so touched to see how Anthony responded to everything. He had the biggest smile on his face and kept wanting to jump in the water and play with the sand. We had never seen him act like that before. Dad also said that as many times as he has been to the beach he had never noticed how beautiful it was. I don't know what was up with Dad that day, but he was just taking everything in. I guess he was finally able to relax and sit back a little bit to enjoy his family and his surroundings. I wish my hubby would be like this more often. Well, Needless to say we will be at the beach every day.

Looks like y'all had tons of fun. You say now that you'll go to the beach like every day but then one day you'll realize that you've been so busy you haven't been there in months. That's what keeps happening to us.
