Last week it finally got cold enough to start a fire. Papa thought he would teach Isabel how to do it. He made her go outside to the wood pile and get some logs to bring in and set by the fireplace. Then they got some newspaper and crinkled it up along with some little twigs. Pop lit the mat
ch and then let Isabel light the newspaper on fire. She really enjoyed herself. She was affraid at first and kept dropping the match, because she thought she was going to burn herself. It took her I think like 5 times before she was Ok with it. After the fire was lit we put our little tootsies up to the fireplace and enjoyed a nice warm night.

Awww...that brings back so many memories. I seriously feel like crying. I'm glad Isabel is getting trained properly. Y'all are so cute all toasty by the fire.
I wish we had a fireplace, especially told since its only supposed to be like 55 today!!
