Isabel's 1st Scripture

The primary leaders must love Isabel, b/c since she has been in they have asked her to say the closing prayer & she has been the spotlight child. Well, this Sunday she was asked to give the scripture. Isabel never minds doing any of these assignments, because she loves to be the center of attention. It's just another reason for her to stand up in front of the class and run her mouth. Well, she got up there and read the scripture 1 Nephi 3:7, with Mom's help of course. She got a sticker for her good dead and was happy the rest of the day. Way to go Isabel. On the way home today she said she wanted to see Jesus. I was like well, do you want us to buy a picture of him and frame it to put on your wall in your room. She said she would love that. It shocked me that someone so little could already have interest in our savior. It really touched me and made me realize that kids really do pay attention to everything, and I need to be more on my toes and get my act together.
